Marlene L. Johnson Memorial Scholarship for Homeless Students
The Community Partnership for the Prevention of Homelessness established this scholarship fund in partnership with B.O.S.S. to commemorate the life and achievements of Marlene L. Johnson, Esq., a life-long resident of the District of Columbia. Ms. Johnson dedicated her life to public service, including the Office of Mayor Marion S. Barry, Jr., the Council of the District of Columbia, the District of Columbia Public Service Commission and the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Ms. Johnson also volunteered her time and expertise to provide years of pro bono legal services to the Community Partnership and other nonprofit and community organizations.
